HOME MAINTENANCE
This service is provided by volunteers and is coordinated through TAPSS.
The service provides assistance with minor home maintenance such as
replacing light bulbs, replacing tap washers, fixing door hinges, hanging
pictures and placing rubbish on the verge for bulk pick up.
There is a fee for this service.
GARDENING and GARDEN MAINTENANCE
This service is also provided by volunteers and coordinated through TAPPS.
The service provides assistance with minor gardening such as pruning (NOT
large trees), raking, minor weeding and general tidy up.
Generally no lawn mowing.
There is a fee for this service.
TAPSS encourages clients to organise a contractor to do ongoing regular service
as we do not have the resources to provide regular ongoing maintenance of
gardens. We do have a list of current gardeners and price list available
at reception.

EXERCISE CLASSES - TUESDAY MORNINGS
This class suits all fitness levels, and is aimed at those over 55. It is a fun way
to keep active and it’s educational too. Run by a qualified a physiotherapist,
from Lifecare Physiotherapy. The cost is $10 for the hour class and an
individual program for home is also provided.

Classes: Tuesday morning.
No assessment is required by TAPSS, however the physiotherapist will make his own assessment
of each individual’s health.

CANASTA
Groups meets at TAPSS, each Tuesday afternoon for a 1pm start for canasta & Afternoon tea. Beginners welcome. Cost $2.00. Client needs to make own arrangements to and from Canasta.
Monthly Luncheon with Guest Speaker
On the first Thursday each month at 12noon, TAPSS hold a lunch for clients. There is a TAPSS assessment criteria and clients need to reside in local municipalities. COST is $8.50 and transport can be arranged. Clients must RSVP by close of business the Tuesday before lunch.
The lunch is advertised in the 'Post' each month prior to date.
Guest speakers give their presentation at 1pm. They are varied and have included speakers on the Bermuda Triagle, Blood Circulation, Frogs and the Environment, Centrelink and Hoya Society.
